Event details

Welcome to another year of Hunter’s Moon in the Shire of Anglespur.  This year we are hosting it on the long weekend of October on the actual Hunter's Moon.  We are so excited to be returning to the beautiful meadows and hills of Lui na Greine Feirme.  There will be torchlight tourneys, A&S for youth & adults, Shire Championships ~ Bardic, Shopping and so much more!  Let the hunter’s horn sound with raucous fervor as the Plague time bans have been lifted and we can once again lift mug and horn with kith and kin.  We’d be honored to have you join us for Hunter’s Moon.

Activities will include youth point, cooking challenges, heavy weapons, fencing, dancing, A&S classes and displays, shopping, bardic activities, archery, thrown weapons and general comradery and shenanigans! 

Preregistration deadline is October 1st, 2022.  No refunds will be given within 2 days of the event.  Refunds requested prior to that will be honored.

Shopping on the Green~ Merchant’s Row:  There’s many types of hunting and hunting for a great deal or the perfect thing is valued at this event!  We invite you to support the artisans and food vendors that are so excited to serve you.  List of participating merchants will be updated on the website.  Merchants can register using this link https://forms.gle/Wx9wfnbkXinTxAuM8 and there is no additional fee to merchant with us.

Martial activities
~ Firelight tournaments will be held in several of the martial areas.  Details to be announced.

~ Thrown Weapons Tournament: 
~ Archery Tournament:  “Seize the Castle!”
~ Youth Marshal activities:  2nd Annual Wolf Pack Games.

~ Dance & Bardic (medieval open mic) Saturday night from O'Dark Thirty until the music & stories stop! 
Middle Eastern Dance
Come and quench your parched throats from all that moon howling as you reconnect with your brethren and listen in (or participate!  ) in the Bard Competition.




Site Rules: 
This is a primitive camping space - please prepare accordingly.  There are multiple Portacastles throughout the space. 
Pets:  Service animals only
- During setup, you may drive up to the patch of land where you intend to put your tent, unload and then park your vehicle in the allotted area.  Vehicles will be restricted from camping areas after 11:00AM Saturday until 1:00PM Sunday
-Cisturns of Potable water will be available onsite~ please bring carrying vessels to fill.
-Digging of any kind is not allowed.
-Outside firewood is not allowed per NY State.  You can forage around your campsite and fire wood is available from the Site Mercantile.
-Portable stoves and BBQs are allowed, as are raised fire pits.  There are also inground cooking/fire pits in most of the camping areas.  We only ask that you be responsible with your equipment - don't go to bed with something still burning, don't spill kerosene, etc.
- Children under 7 must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.  Children 7-12 must have a responsible adult within line of sight at all times.  Children 13-17 must have a responsible adult within line of hearing at all times. 
-Site tokens should be visible at all times

Pre-registration is strongly encouraged as this is an outdoor raw site.  Pre- registration closes on October 1, 2022.  There is a required $5 Non-Member surcharge to the below listed fees where applicable.  No ADDITIONAL merchant fee for this event however merchants must register with the coordinator.  Registration links will up updated here asap for both camping and merchants. 
Gate will be open:  Friday 12:00pM to 10:00PM, Saturday 8:00AM to 4:00PM and Sunday 8:00AM to 12:00PM

Adult> Pre-reg:  $20 or At Gate:  $25
Child> 6-17 Pre-reg:  $5 or At Gate:  $8
Child> Under 6 is free

Weekend Fees
Adult> Pre-reg:  $40 or At Gate:  $50
Child> 6-17 Pre-reg:  $10 or At Gate:  $15

Max Family Fee (2 Adult and 2+ Child)

Campers and Vardo's can be accommodated but advance registration is required and there is an additional $50 fee to prep an area for your needs.  Please note that there are no hookups or blackwater discharge allowed on site.  Grey water discharge is fine in designated areas.

Advance Reservations will be taken via PayPal link and check.  Cash & Check will be taken at Gate.
